An Embraer ERJ 145EP came to us in very poor condition. The client requested that it needed to be 100% airworthy and able to carry 50 passengers as it will be the first ERJ 145 to operate in Israel. The aircraft required every department to complete the work scope.
The aircraft required a refurbished interior, upgraded avionics, new exterior paint, various heavy maintenance repairs and inspections brought up to date for the entire following calendar year.
The crew that took it for a test flight, had flown it before at its previous operator. They remarked, “It feels like it’s new.” There were no signs of its former quirks that they were expecting to encounter.
